Amid the swell of diversity and inclusion driving the fashion industry, CR Fashion Book is forging a new standard. For its 10th issue, CR's editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld pens a love letter to her home city Paris, using faces of the industry to reveal the City of Lights as a cultural epicenter and more than just a cliché, "I wanted to show Paris through my eyes, the way I know it and love it, the Paris that makes you dream. It was important for me to show the development of Paris, full of emerging talent. Paris is not just a city of tourists, it's alive and vibrant."

Halima Aden and Paris Jackson, both shot by Mario Sorrenti, represent that vibrancy as faces on the dual cover issue. This marks their first-ever fashion magazine covers. The two are joined by Gucci Mane who covers CR Men's Book, shot by Terry Richardson.

In an industry where famous faces monopolize magazine covers, Roitfeld selected women who are more mysterious and unknown to the public eye. True to style, she maintains her reputation for shooting new faces into the spotlight, "Paris has always been a welcoming city and for that reason, I chose to work with women from around the world." Halima comes fresh off the Yeezy Season 5 runway where she made her fashion week debut. After competing in Miss Minnesota's USA pageant, Aden gained recognition for staying true to her beliefs and entering with her hijab and a burkini, "It was not a political or religious statement to shoot with Halima, I was just amazed by her beauty. She is a 'new' beauty and diversity within the industry. It was important for me to shoot her while respecting her culture", Roitfeld explained.

Jackson is all grown up on her cover in a striking blue Gucci gown. The 18-year-old recently returned to the spotlight since covering Rolling Stone magazine and making an appearance at this year's Grammy Awards, "She was self-confident and wonderful. I rarely meet people so polite and open to my ideas", Roitfeld said of her meeting with the cover star.

To help compose her love letter, the French editor tapped global talents from every industry. Famed actress Isabelle Adjani graces the pages of CR10 as the quintessential Parisienne woman. Adjani is joined by names like Gigi and Bella Hadid, Lara Stone, and Karlie Kloss who embody the French spirit from an outsider's perspective, "They all have Parisian qualities. Even coming from the US or the Netherlands, they have a certain sex appeal and sensuality which is very Parisian."

She describes Paris as "the land of the welcome" and a place that is an integral part of her creative DNA and home to the most influential sources of inspiration, "We are lucky to have a culturally diverse group of designers showcasing their collection here - from Japanese, Belgian, and now designers from the former Soviet bloc countries like Demna Gvasalia and Gosha Rubchinskiy. American brands show at least once in Paris, like Rodarte, Hood by Air, and Victoria's Secret. It shows us that people do have a true love for Paris, despite the tragic events the city and country have endured."

As of 2017, CR has found a new home at Hearst Magazines where Roitfeld hopes to have a more hand-on presence and larger distribution of the magazine, "I see CR10 like my first issue - a new beginning. The inside of the issue has not changed - it's quite similar - the best of fashion, beautiful girls, our usual photographers. People I'm faithful to." CR Fashion Book Issue 10 is the first issue under the newly formed CR Fashion Book Ltd. led by newly appointed Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld as its President. Hearst will be publishing and leading revenue generation for the magazine via their proprietary MediaOS platform. Their joint venture with Condé Nast, PubWorX, will manage and oversee printing, production, and distribution for the biannual print book. Feature stories and images can also be found on CR10 online, "I realize that it's difficult for people to find the magazine and Hearst will allow us to be more accessible. Hearst 's support will also allow us to gain visibility online and to express ourselves further and differently than we have in the past."

CR Fashion Book Issue 10 will be available on stands March 2nd.
