Abby May Miller was raised in Arvada, Colorado. She received two Bachelor's degrees from Colorado State University in Fine Art and Fashion Design. Upon finishing college, Abby moved to NYC to pursue an internship with Diane Von Furstenberg where she learned how to create collections and refine her merchandising skills. Shortly after her internship, she began fabricating one of a kind art-to-wear jewelry, combining hammered metal, stones, and crystals to create a richly unique collection. Her work is inspired by the vast landscape and bold colors found in the large scale geodes, rocks, and minerals of the Southwest. After 15 years in NYC, Abby continues to draw inspiration from the city's dramatic architecture, eclectic culture, and demanding pace, designing and handcrafting each of her pieces in her Manhattan studio. Abby May Jewelry has been sold to private clients and specialty stores both nationally and across the globe. This is the first exhibition of her work in Europe.
