7.30 - 9pm - drinks
Space is limited, so come early to avoid disappointment.
To coincide with the exhibition, 'Forbidden to Forbid' at Balice Hertling Belleville, Goswell Road publishes a Goswell Reader with Balice Hertling edited by Paul Clinton, featuring essays by Clinton, T.J. Demos and Virgile Iscan.
To launch the publication, the editor and curator of the exhibition will be in conversation with art historian and art critic Elisabeth Lebovici, to discuss points of overlap with her award winning book Ce que le sida m'a fait published by JRP Ringier. They will discuss the relationship between the art and politics of sexual liberation, explored in 'Forbidden to Forbid', and cultural activism after AIDS, the subject of Lebovici's book, as well as their different approaches to writing about those eras.
